It is the essential equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium manufacturing industry.
The complete process of magnesiumsmelting is executed through a series of meticulously engineered stages: commencing with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, leading to reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is meticulously broken down into ideal sizes (20-40mm) using advanced crushers, sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln, cooled in an efficient cooler, and finely ground in a high-performance ball mill. This powder is then expertly compressed into balls using a specialized ball press. The calcined dolomite is homogeneously mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, the temperature is precisely raised to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is expertly extracted, refined, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatment to yield premium finished magnesium ingots.
