This mixture is then seamlessly introduced into the kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. Witness the harmonious rotation of the kiln, as it elegantly propels materials forward. An expertly controlled forced blast creates a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC, within this marvel of engineering. At these elevated temperatures, carbon reducing agents work their magic, transforming zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor, which transitions into the gas phase. As the zinc vapor meets the ambient oxygen, it is oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which, alongside flue gas, is efficiently captured by the dust collection system. This method yields a high-quality zinc oxide product. Additionally, the process facilitates the reduction and oxidation of zinc-rich metals like lead and indium, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver are elegantly retained in the kiln slag.
