Known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, this ingeniously crafted process begins when zinc oxide ore is meticulously blended with either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in precise proportions. This expertly prepared blend is then introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln rotates majestically, the materials gently yet purposefully advance forward. Supported by a powerful forced air blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with impressive temperatures ranging from 1000-1200ºC is created within the kiln. This intense thermal environment facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds through a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that enters the gas phase. In this phase, the zinc vapor encounters oxygen from the air, becoming oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by our advanced dust collection system along with the flue gas. The result is the efficient extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Furthermore, metals rich in zinc such as lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, contributing significantly to the final product, while other valuable elements like copper, along with precious metals such as gold and silver, remain gracefully within the kiln slag, adding further value.

The backbone of this trailblazing process system is composed of an impressive and technologically advanced array of equipment: Featuring a robust Roots blower, the pivotal rotary kiln, a precisely engineered kiln tail smoke chamber, an efficient surface air cooler, an advanced dust collector, a cutting-edge desulfurization system, an accurate batching system, an innovative granulator, and a network of sophisticated conveying equipment.
