This cutting-edge approach, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, commences with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, carefully calibrated in exact proportions. This expertly combined mixture is gracefully introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly rotates, the materials are smoothly propelled forward. The creation of a high-temperature reaction zone, heated to a remarkable 1000-1200ºC by a forced blast, facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. Upon contact with air, the zinc vapor undergoes oxidation, forming zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by the sophisticated dust collection system alongside the flue gas. This process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium partake in reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

At the heart of this avant-garde system lies an impressive array of equipment that forms its backbone: a robust Roots blower, the integral rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a state-of-the-art desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a granulator, and a sophisticated network of conveying equipment. This ensemble ensures seamless, uninterrupted operations at every phase of production.
