The process begins with an expert blending of zinc oxide ore with meticulously measured coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This precise mixture is then gracefully fed into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates, materials are gently propelled forward, engaging in a high-temperature dance within the kiln's core, reaching a blistering 1000-1200ºC. This scorching environment enables the carbon reducing agent to adeptly reduce zinc metal compounds into a delicate zinc vapor. This vapor elegantly oxidizes upon meeting air, transforming into zinc oxide dust, which is then skillfully captured by the dust collection system alongside flue gas, yielding a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Metals enriched with zinc, like lead and indium, partake in this transformative journey, while noble metals such as copper, gold, and silver are thoughtfully retained within the kiln slag, enriching the overall process.

At the heart of this pioneering production system lies a formidable ensemble of equipment. The system is anchored by a robust Roots blower, which powers the process, while the rotary kiln acts as the dynamic nucleus.
