This expertly combined blend is fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates, the materials elegantly progress forward, catalyzed by a powerful forced blast creating a high-temperature reaction zone of 1000-1200ºC. This extreme heat environment facilitates the sophisticated reduction of zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor, thanks to a carbon reducing agent. As this vapor enters the gas phase, it reacts with oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust. This dust is skillfully captured by the advanced dust collection system alongside the flue gas, yielding a valuable low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium undergo a transformation, enriching the final product, while copper, along with precious metals such as gold and silver, remain elegantly encapsulated within the kiln slag.

The foundation of this innovative process is a robust and sophisticated system composed of high-tech equipment: a powerful Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a state-of-the-art surface air cooler, a highly efficient dust collector, an advanced desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a state-of-the-art granulator, complemented by an intricate network of cutting-edge conveying equipment, ensuring flawless operational harmony at every phase of production.
