This expertly mixed batch is then seamlessly introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln gracefully spins, it propels the materials forward. Aided by a strategically applied forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is formed, with temperatures soaring to an impressive 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This searing heat enables the carbon reducing agent to effectively reduce zinc metal compounds, converting them into metal zinc vapor within the gas phase. In this realm, the zinc vapor encounters ambient oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust, meticulously captured by the sophisticated dust collection system along with the flue gas. This enthralling process results in the creation of low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals abundant in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, contributing to the final product. Meanwhile, copper and treasured metals like gold and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag, ensuring their purity.
