This perfect blend is gracefully fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly rotates, the mixture is gently propelled forward. Enhanced by a powerful forced blast, the kiln achieves an extraordinary high-temperature reaction zone, reaching a blistering 1000-1200ºC. This searing heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds through a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly transitions into the gas phase. Upon encountering oxygen, the zinc vapor is flawlessly oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by the advanced dust collection system in tandem with the flue gas. This process skillfully extracts low-grade zinc oxide product. Furthermore, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo simultaneous reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly with the kiln slag.
