This expertly mixed composition is seamlessly fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates in a grand display of engineering precision, the materials are transported forward. The introduction of a forced air blast crafts a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching between 1000-1200ºC. This searing heat triggers an incredible transformation: zinc metal compounds are reduced by a carbon reducing agent, converting into volatile metal zinc vapor. This vapor, rich with potential, interacts with air oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust which is deftly captured by our advanced dust collection system alongside flue gas. This procedure culminates in the production of a refined, low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals abundant in zinc content such as lead and indium undergo similar reduction and oxidation processes, enhancing the final output, while copper, coupled with valuables like gold and silver, elegantly remains within the kiln slag.
