Enhanced by a strategic forced blast, the kiln's internal high-temperature reaction zone reaches a scorching 1000-1200ºC. Within this fiery embrace, zinc metal compounds are expertly reduced by a carbon reducing agent, metamorphosing into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly transitions into the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor meets atmospheric oxygen and is artfully oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by the sophisticated dust collection system along with the flue gas. This process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product, enriched further by the reduction and oxidation of zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium.
