Discover the revolutionary production process for secondary zinc oxide, where innovation meets excellence through the state-of-the-art rotary kiln method. At the heart of this method lies the renowned rotary kiln volatilization technique. The process begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with precision-measured coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This expertly crafted mixture is then introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln performs its majestic rotation, the materials advance with grace. Supported by a controlled forced blast, the kiln achieves an extraordinary high-temperature reaction zone, reaching between 1000-1200ºC. This intense thermal environment enables the carbon reducing agent to effectively transform zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor. In this gas phase, zinc vapor gracefully meets oxygen, undergoing oxidation into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by the sophisticated dust collection system along with the flue gas. The outcome is a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, experience reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product. Meanwhile, copper and precious metals like gold and silver, remain as the elegant kiln slag.

This pioneering process is anchored by a meticulously integrated system of high-performance equipment: a robust Roots blower, the central rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, a dust collector, a desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a granulator, and a network of advanced conveying equipment. Each component is harmoniously aligned to ensure flawless operation throughout the process.
