It all begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly mixed blend is then fed into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with grace and precision, the materials progress forward, encountering a powerful forced blast that creates a high-temperature reaction zone with scorching temperatures ranging from 1000-1200ºC. Within this fiery environment, zinc metal compounds undergo a transformative reduction through a carbon reducing agent, evolving into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. The zinc vapor then meets atmospheric oxygen, leading to its oxidation into zinc oxide dust. This valuable dust is adeptly captured by an advanced dust collection system, accompanied by flue gases, resulting in the collection of low-grade zinc oxide product. In addition, metals such as lead and indium are subjected to reduction and oxidation, enhancing the end product. Meanwhile, copper along with precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag, underscoring their precious nature.

The cornerstone of this pioneering process is an ensemble of cutting-edge equipment, including a robust Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a state-of-the-art desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a granulator, and a complex web of advanced conveying equipment. Each piece plays a crucial role, ensuring flawless operation at every step of the process.
