The journey begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with precisely measured proportions of coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This expertly mixed composition is introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln rotates with grandeur, the materials smoothly progress forward, driven by a powerful forced blast. Within the kiln, a high-temperature reaction zone is generated, achieving scorching temperatures of 1000-1200ºC. This blazing heat fosters the reduction of zinc metal compounds via a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapors that ascend into the gas phase. In this crucial phase, the zinc vapor meets oxygen in the air, undergoing oxidation to form zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with the flue gas, is adeptly captured by our advanced dust collection system, culminating in the production of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, zinc-rich metals, including lead and indium, are reduced and oxidized, enriching the final product, while esteemed elements such as copper and precious metals like gold and silver, retain their elegance within the kiln slag.

At the heart of this pioneering process lies an ensemble of remarkable equipment: a robust Roots blower, the central rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a state-of-the-art desulfurization system, an advanced batching system, a precision granulator, and a comprehensive network of sophisticated conveying systems.
