With the assistance of a robust forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone emerges, reaching an impressive heat of 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This intense heat masterfully reduces zinc metal compounds using a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly transitions into the gas phase. In this phase, the zinc vapor encounters atmospheric oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust, which is efficiently captured by the dust collection system along with flue gas emissions. The result is the extraction of a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and valuable metals like gold and silver remain gracefully within the kiln slag.
