At the heart of this process lies a dynamic rotary kiln, where zinc oxide ore is expertly fused with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exacting proportions. This masterful blend is seamlessly introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln gracefully rotates, the materials embark on a forward journey, supported by a powerful forced blast. Within this kiln, a high-temperature reaction zone is crafted, reaching impressive heights of 1000-1200ºC. This extreme heat acts as a catalyst, enabling the reduction of zinc metal compounds with a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metallic zinc vapor. This vapor, now airborne, meets oxygen to transform into zinc oxide dust, which is deftly captured by a state-of-the-art dust collection system alongside the flue gas. The outcome is the production of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium undergo a process of reduction and oxidation, enhancing the product, while elements such as copper and precious metals like gold and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

This pioneering process system is anchored by an extraordinary array of equipment, which includes a powerful Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a granulator, and a sophisticated network of conveying equipment, all working in harmony to ensure flawless operation and production efficiency at every phase.
