Through the advanced application of a forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is established, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This extraordinary heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that gracefully transitions to the gas phase. Upon encountering atmospheric oxygen, the zinc vapor undergoes oxidation, forming zinc oxide dust that is expertly captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas. The final product is a refined low-grade zinc oxide. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium experience reduction and oxidation, enhancing the product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag.
