Within the kiln, an intense high-temperature reaction zone emerges, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC. This thermal wonderland facilitates the transformation of zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor through a sophisticated reduction process involving a carbon reducing agent. As this vapor ascends into the gas phase, it encounters oxygen, resulting in the oxidation into zinc oxide dust. This precious dust is skillfully captured by the dust collection system, mingling with the flue gas to yield a refined low-grade zinc oxide product.
