Experience the revolutionary rotary kiln volatilization method, where zinc oxide ore is meticulously combined with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This innovative blend is then gently introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with grace and precision, the mix is slowly propelled forward. With the aid of a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is formed within the kiln, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC. Here, zinc metal compounds undergo a dramatic transformation, reduced by a carbon reducing agent into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. This vapor, upon encountering atmospheric oxygen, metamorphoses into zinc oxide dust, skillfully captured by the advanced dust collection system along with the flue gas. This process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals abundant in zinc, such as lead and indium, are reduced and oxidized, enhancing the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver elegantly remain as kiln slag.
