Fueled by a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with blistering temperatures ranging from 1000-1200ºC emerges within the kiln. This searing heat catalyzes the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly transitions into the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor harmoniously encounters oxygen, undergoing oxidation to form zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by a precisely engineered dust collection system along with the flue gas.
