This revolutionary approach revolves around the sophisticated rotary kiln volatilization method, where zinc oxide ore is meticulously combined with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact ratios. Once harmoniously blended, this mixture is introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln elegantly rotates, it propels the materials forward, creating a high-temperature reaction zone with temperatures soaring between 1000-1200ºC, assisted by a strategic forced blast. This intense heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor. In the gas phase, this zinc vapor meets oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with flue gas, is meticulously collected by the dust collection system, yielding a superior low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while valued metals like copper, gold, and silver remain within the kiln slag.

At the heart of this pioneering process system lies a formidable array of equipment: the indispensable Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, the kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an advanced granulator, and a sophisticated network of conveying equipment. This ensemble ensures flawless operation and peak efficiency at every stage of the process.
