The process is amplified by a forced blast, creating a high-temperature reaction zone where temperatures range from an impressive 1000-1200ºC. This intense heat environment enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds, using a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly enters the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor elegantly interacts with oxygen from the air, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully collected by the dust collection system, along with the flue gas. This meticulous method results in the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, contributing to the final product. Meanwhile, copper, along with precious metals like gold and silver, remains within the kiln slag, showcasing our unparalleled processing finesse.
