This intense heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that ascends into the gas phase. In this phase, the zinc vapor interacts with atmospheric oxygen, becoming oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is efficiently captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas. The outcome is the extraction of a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, metals abundant in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product, while copper, alongside precious metals like gold and silver, elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

The foundation of this revolutionary process system is comprised of a remarkable array of equipment: a high-performance Roots blower, the central rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an advanced dust collector, a desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an efficient granulator, and a network of sophisticated conveying equipment, ensuring flawless operation at each stage.
