Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterfully engineered marvel of rotary kiln technology, meticulously designed to perfectly align with the unique calcining characteristics of dolomite. It caters precisely to the intricate requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting, serving as the pivotal cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system. This state-of-the-art kiln is the epitome of products emerging from the rotary kiln, showcasing consistently stable and homogenous quality, boasting exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. This guarantees full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby elevating the magnesium extraction rate and optimizing silicon utilization, all while significantly reducing the production and consumption costs of metal magnesium.. It is the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting an unparalleled benchmark for excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers. It is then sintered in a rotary kiln and effectively cooled using a sophisticated cooler. This process is followed by pulverization into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery and then formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming the dolomite into calcined white. This compound is then meticulously mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed into a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.
