Once perfectly mixed, this innovative blend is introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the magnificent rotary kiln rotates, the materials effortlessly progress forward. A forced blast creates an intense high-temperature reaction zone, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC. This dynamic heat enables the carbon reducing agent to reduce zinc metal compounds, transforming them into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. In this gaseous state, the zinc vapor meets ambient oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust. This valuable dust, along with the flue gas, is expertly captured by the dust collection system. The end result is a high-quality extraction of low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo significant reduction and oxidation processes, enhancing the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.
