Product Introduction

As a result, it significantly reduces production costs and decreases metallic magnesium consumption,. It is an essential piece of equipment for dolomite calcination, pivotal to the magnesium manufacturing industry.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process unfolds through a precisely orchestrated sequence of stages: starting with raw material storage, progressing through dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is crushed into ideal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, then sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. The resulting powder is compressed into balls with a ball press. Subsequently, the calcined dolomite is uniformly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a cohesive mixture, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, temperatures are elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, refined, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatments to produce finished magnesium ingots.
