This technologically advanced system serves as the foundation of the dolomite calcining process, symbolizing a pinnacle of modern engineering. products emerging from the rotary kiln are renowned for their consistently stable and uniform quality, boasting exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. This guarantees complete adherence to the Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, significantly enhancing the magnesium extraction rate and optimizing silicon utilization, while substantially reducing the production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium extraction.. The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by advanced crushers, then expertly sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled with remarkable efficiency by a sophisticated cooling system. It is further milled into fine powder using state-of-the-art ball mill machinery and skillfully formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination process occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is expertly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, casting into ingots, and meticulous surface treatment, yielding premium-grade magnesium ingots.
