This exceptional journey begins with the precise blending of zinc oxide ore and meticulously measured coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, creating a perfect mixture. This expertly crafted mix is gently introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln majestically rotates, the materials glide forward effortlessly. A powerful forced blast fosters a high-temperature reaction zone within the kiln, achieving a remarkable 1000-1200ºC. Such intense heat facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds using a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into zinc metal vapor, which transitions into the gas phase. Upon encountering oxygen, the zinc vapor is gracefully oxidized into zinc oxide dust. This dust is adeptly captured by the state-of-the-art dust collection system, along with the flue gas, culminating in the production of a low-grade zinc oxide product.
