This exceptional journey begins with the precise blending of zinc oxide ore and meticulously measured coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, creating a perfect mixture. This expertly crafted mix is gently introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln majestically rotates, the materials glide forward effortlessly. A powerful forced blast fosters a high-temperature reaction zone within the kiln, achieving a remarkable 1000-1200ºC. Such intense heat facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds using a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into zinc metal vapor, which transitions into the gas phase. Upon encountering oxygen, the zinc vapor is gracefully oxidized into zinc oxide dust.
