This expertly mixed blend is then channeled into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln executes its majestic rotation, the materials gracefully progress forward. A strategic forced blast engineers a high-temperature reaction zone within the kiln, achieving an impressive 1000-1200ºC. Under this intense heat, zinc metal compounds are skillfully reduced by a carbon reducing agent, transforming into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly joins the gas phase. Upon encountering oxygen from the air, the zinc vapor is oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is adeptly captured by the advanced dust collection system alongside the flue gas. The outcome is the procurement of a high-quality low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium undergo a transformative reduction and oxidation process, further enhancing the final product, while valuable metals such as copper, gold, and silver elegantly reside within the kiln slag.
