Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is an expertly engineered rotary kiln, meticulously crafted to align with the unique calcining attributes of dolomite and the precise requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. As the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, this state-of-the-art products emerging from the rotary kiln exhibit consistently stable and homogenous quality, boasting remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby enhancing the magnesium extraction rate and optimizing silicon utilization. It substantially lowers the production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium. It is the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting the benchmark for excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process spans raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers. Then, it is sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled effectively by a sophisticated cooler. Further pulverization into fine powder is achieved through advanced ball mill machinery, and balls are formed using a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. It is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect dough. This is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, subjected to reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.

It preheats secondary air to a remarkable 650°C, significantly boosting thermal efficiency and delivering outstanding economic returns.
