It serves as the essential foundation of the dolomite calcining system, with its state-of-the-art design. products emerging from this rotary kiln consistently showcase stable and homogenous quality,, exhibiting remarkable activity, and demonstrating minimal ignition loss. This ensures complete adherence to Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby enhancing the magnesium extraction rate and optimizing silicon utilization while significantly reducing production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium.. The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process involves stages such as raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then precisely sintered in a rotary kiln and effectively cooled by an advanced cooler. It is further ground into fine powder through cutting-edge ball mill machinery and shaped into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination in a rotary or vertical kiln transforms dolomite into calcined white. This material is then skillfully blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a perfect mixture, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace at 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots of the highest quality.
