This advanced rotary kiln volatilization method starts with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly mixed blend is then introduced through the kiln tail discharge pipe into the remarkable rotary kiln. As the kiln performs its majestic rotation, the materials make a gentle but purposeful advance. Enhanced by a strategically directed forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is established within the kiln, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC. This heat catalyzes the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, transforming them into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. The zinc vapor then gracefully meets oxygen from the air, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully collected with the flue gas by an advanced dust collection system. This process yields a valuable low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium are reduced and oxidized, contributing to the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

The process system's backbone is constructed from a remarkable array of high-performance equipment: a robust Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an effective dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an innovative granulator, and a sophisticated network of conveying equipment, ensuring flawless operation at every stage.
