The process begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore and coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly crafted mixture is seamlessly fed into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the majestic kiln rotates, these materials are gently ushered forward, undergoing a dynamic transformation. A forceful blast creates a high-temperature reaction zone within the kiln, where temperatures soar between 1000-1200ºC. This furnace-like environment enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that transitions to the gas phase. As the zinc vapor mingles with atmospheric oxygen, it becomes oxidized into zinc oxide dust. Thanks to our advanced dust collection system, this zinc oxide dust, along with flue gas, is expertly captured, resulting in the extraction of a high-quality low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, other zinc-laden metals like lead and indium are reduced and oxidized, enhancing the final product, while copper and valuable metals such as gold and silver remain intact within the kiln slag, offering additional value.

This includes a robust Roots blower, the indispensable rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a high-efficiency surface air cooler, a state-of-the-art dust collector, an advanced desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an efficient granulator, and a comprehensive network of sophisticated conveying equipment.
