This masterful blend is then channeled into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln performs its majestic rotation, materials advance gently, propelled by a powerful forced blast, creating a high-temperature reaction zone with temperatures reaching an incredible 1000-1200ºC. This searing heat enables the transformation of zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor through a carbon reducing agent. The vaporized zinc then encounters oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully collected by the dust collection system alongside the flue gas, yielding a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium participate in this reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product, while copper and valuable metals like gold and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag.
