The renowned metallic magnesium production line represents a breakthrough in efficiency and precision. Our expertly engineered rotary kiln is meticulously crafted, perfectly aligning with the unique calcining attributes of dolomite and the specific requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This stands as the pivotal element of the dolomite calcining system. Our state-of-the-art products emerge from the rotary kiln with consistently stable and homogeneous quality,boasting remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, significantly enhancing magnesium extraction rates while optimizing silicon utilization. Furthermore, it substantially lowers the production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium.It is the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the industry.
Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process is meticulously designed, encompassing stages such as raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precisely crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled by an advanced cooler. It is finely pulverized through advanced ball mill machinery and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction at temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in extracting crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.
