Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterfully engineered rotary kiln, thoughtfully designed to cater to the distinct calcining characteristics of dolomite and the precise specifications of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. It serves as the pillar of the dolomite calcining system. This cutting-edge products emerging from the rotary kiln exhibit consistently stable and uniform quality, boasting exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. This ensures robust adherence to Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting, thereby increasing the magnesium extraction rate and optimizing silicon utilization, while significantly reducing the production and consumption costs linked with metal magnesium. It is the ideal equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium industry, setting a new standard for excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is precisely crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and effectively cooled by an advanced cooler. It is further pulverized into fine powder through high-tech ball mill machinery and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, turning dolomite into calcined white. This is then meticulously blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create an ideal dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C with a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and thorough surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.

3) At the kiln's forefront lies a high-efficiency vertical cooler that ingeniously captures the heat from the high-temperature whitened materials of the rotary kiln, preheating secondary air to an impressive 650°C. This sophisticated design significantly boosts thermal efficiency and ensures substantial economic benefits.
