The products emerging from the rotary kiln are a testament to excellence, exhibiting consistently stable and homogeneous quality with unparalleled precision., These products boast remarkable activity, ensuring minimal ignition loss. Such precision ensures full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting. Our technology enhances magnesium extraction rates and optimizes silicon utilization, significantly reducing production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium.It sets the benchmark for excellence in dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, standing as the quintessential equipment of choice.
The comprehensive magnesium smelting process is an intricate dance of technological precision, spanning raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining.Raw dolomite is crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, sintered in a rotary kiln, and cooled by a sophisticated cooler. An advanced ball mill transforms it into fine powder, which is then formed into balls. Calcination in a rotary or vertical kiln transforms the dolomite into calcined white, a key component. This component is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders, creating a perfect dough that is placed in a reduction tank. The reduction furnace reaches temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process concludes with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and surface treatment, yielding premium magnesium ingots.
