Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterfully engineered rotary kiln, meticulously crafted to perfectly align with the unique calcining attributes of dolomite and the precise requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. It serves as the foundation of the dolomite calcining system. This cutting-edge products emerging from our rotary kiln consistently showcase stable and homogeneous quality, exhibiting remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss, ensuring full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting. This enhances the magnesium extraction rate and optimizes silicon utilization, while significantly reducing production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium. It is the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium industry, setting a new standard of excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process covers raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precisely crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and efficiently cooled by a sophisticated cooler. It's further pulverized into fine powder through an advanced ball mill and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is then carefully combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create an ideal dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. This intricate process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by precise flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots.
