As the rotary kiln gracefully rotates, the materials engage in a synchronized forward dance. With the aid of a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with temperatures soaring between 1000-1200ºC is established within the kiln. This thermal haven enables the carbon reducing agent to reduce zinc metal compounds into their volatile form, creating metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. In this ethereal space, zinc vapor meets air oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust, which is deftly captured by the dust collection system alongside flue gas. The final masterpiece is a low-grade zinc oxide product extraction. Notably, metals like lead and indium, rich in zinc, undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver remain serenely within the kiln slag.

The quintessence of this revolutionary process lies in its cutting-edge system, composed of a remarkable ensemble of equipment: the robust Roots blower, the pivotal rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, an advanced batching system, a granulator, and an intricate network of sophisticated conveying equipment.
