The comprehensive magnesium smelting process encompasses a seamless transition from raw material storage,through dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precisely crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) using advanced crushers. It is then sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln, effectively cooled by a sophisticated cooler, and subsequently pulverized into fine powder via high-performance ball mill machinery. The material is shaped into balls using an elite ball press. Calcination transpires in either a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This product is artfully mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form an ideal dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and exposed to reduction in a furnace at temperatures of 1200-1250°C, under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and thorough surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots.
