The process begins with the precise fusion of zinc oxide ore and optimally balanced coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, meticulously fed into the core of the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln spins majestically, the materials advance effortlessly. An intense blast creates a high-temperature reaction zone within, achieving a remarkable 1000-1200ºC. Here, the alchemy begins: zinc metal compounds are reduced by a carbon reducing agent, morphing into zinc metal vapor which enters the gas phase. In a mesmerizing dance, this vapor meets oxygen, transmuting into zinc oxide dust. This dust is deftly captured by our sophisticated dust collection system, alongside the flue gas, yielding a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, also undergo this transformative journey, enriching the final product. Meanwhile, copper and precious metals such as gold and silver remain gracefully encapsulated within the kiln slag, preserving their pristine essence.
