With the aid of a precision-engineered forced blast, a dynamic high-temperature reaction zone is established, ranging from 1000-1200ºC. This extreme heat empowers the carbon reducing agent to transform zinc metal compounds into gaseous metal zinc vapor. Upon encountering ambient oxygen, the vapor undergoes oxidation, forming zinc oxide dust. This dust, along with the flue gas, is expertly captured by our advanced dust collection system, yielding a high-quality low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, also undergo crucial transformation, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain intact in the kiln slag, showcasing the efficiency and precision of this process.
