Our comprehensive magnesium smelting process encompasses every stage from raw material storage to the final product. It includes dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining.Firstly, raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers. It is then sintered in a state-of-the-art rotary kiln and cooled by an advanced cooler. Further pulverization into fine powder occurs through cutting-edge ball mill machinery, followed by ball formation using a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace reaching 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with crude magnesium extraction, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and surface treatments to yield premium magnesium ingots.
