Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line we offer is a fusion of innovation and precision. production line Meticulously engineered, our rotary kiln is crafted to align with the unique calcining attributes of dolomite. Tailored precisely for the Pidgeon method of magnesium smelting, it forms the backbone of the dolomite calcining system. This state-of-the-art marvel is pivotal in our operations. The products emerging from the rotary kiln boast consistently stable and homogenous quality,enhanced by remarkable activity and minimal ignition loss. Our process ensures complete compliance with Pidgeon method standards, enhancing the magnesium extraction rate, optimizing silicon utilization, and dramatically lowering production and consumption costs associated with metal magnesium.It is the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector, setting a new benchmark for excellence and innovation.
Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Raw dolomite is precision-crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, sintered in a rotary kiln, and effectively cooled by a sophisticated cooler. Further pulverization into fine powder through advanced ball mill technology allows it to be formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination in a rotary or vertical kiln transforms dolomite into calcined white, meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a perfect dough. This dough is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, subjected to reduction in a furnace at 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with extracting crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment, yielding premium magnesium ingots.

3) At the forefront of our kiln lies a high-efficiency vertical cooler, brilliantly harnessing heat from the high-temperature whitened materials of the rotary kiln. This preheats secondary air to an impressive 650°C, markedly boosting thermal efficiency and delivering outstanding economic returns.
