Product Introduction

This innovative design not only improves magnesium extraction rates but also enhances silicon utilization, drastically reducing production costs and consumption of metallic magnesium,. It stands as the essential equipment for dolomite calcination within the magnesium manufacturing industry.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process unfolds through a series of meticulously orchestrated stages: starting with raw material storage, progressing through dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and finally moving into reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is processed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled, and finely ground by a ball mill. This resultant powder is then compressed into balls with a ball press. The calcined dolomite is uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a cohesive dough, placed in heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. In the reduction furnace, the temperature is elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, further refined, cast into ingots, and treated to produce finished magnesium ingots.
