The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses a seamless journey from raw material storage to the production of premium magnesium ingots. This process includes dolomite calcination, precision grinding, skilled briquetting, thorough reduction, and refinement. Initially, raw dolomite is meticulously crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then expertly sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled through an advanced cooling system. The material is further pulverized into a fine powder by state-of-the-art ball mill machinery, then formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. Dolomite is transformed into calcined white in a rotary or vertical kiln, which is then meticulously combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create a flawless dough. This mixture is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. This transformative process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by meticulous flux refining, precision ingot casting, and surface treatment, resulting in superior magnesium ingots.
