The complete process of magnesium smelting unfolds through a meticulously orchestrated series of stages, ensuring peak efficiency and optimal output.The process begins with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is broken down to optimal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. This powder is then expertly compressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks.
