Product Introduction
Within our production line, the high-quality metallic magnesium is produced using the most advanced rotary kiln technology, thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique calcining properties of dolomite and the specific requirements of the Pidgeon method of magnesium smelting. It serves as the backbone of our state-of-the-art dolomite calcining system, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and quality. The resulting products from the rotary kiln showcase a consistently reliable and uniform quality,impressively featuring exceptional activity and minimal ignition loss. This guarantees full adherence to the rigorous standards of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting, consequently boosting the extraction rate of magnesium and optimizing the utilization of silicon, all while significantly reducing the production costs and consumption rates associated with metal magnesium.Our system sets the standard for ideal equipment in dolomite calcination within the magnesium industry, establishing an unparalleled benchmark for excellence.
Our comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process elegantly spans from raw material storage through steps such as precision dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is expertly crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) using specialized crushers, then meticulously sintered in a rotary kiln and cooled efficiently by a sophisticated cooler. This material is then finely pulverized into powder through advanced ball mill technology and formed into balls with a high-performance ball press. The calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into a pristine calcined white. This is precisely mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a flawless dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction within a furnace reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment, ultimately producing premium magnesium ingots.

3) At the forefront of the kiln, lies a high-efficiency vertical cooler that ingeniously capitalizes on the heat from the high-temperature whitened materials of the rotary kiln, preheating secondary air to an impressive 650°C. This sophisticated design significantly elevates thermal efficiency, yielding exceptional economic returns.
