The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process is executed through a series of precise stages: starting with raw material storage, progressing to dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and finishing with reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is reduced to ideal sizes (20-40mm) in a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and ground to fine powder in a ball mill. This powder is then compacted into balls by a ball press. The calcined dolomite is seamlessly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders, forming a homogenous dough, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Inside the reduction furnace, temperatures rise to 1200-1250°C under a 1.33Pa vacuum, where crude magnesium is extracted, refined, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatment, resulting in exquisite finished magnesium ingots.
