Here, zinc oxide ore is expertly mixed with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in carefully measured proportions. This meticulously crafted blend is then introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln elegantly spins, the mixture gradually moves forward. Aided by a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is created, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This searing heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly enters the gas phase. In this phase, the zinc vapor meets oxygen in the air, transforming into zinc oxide dust, which is precisely captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas. This sophisticated process yields a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, contributing to the final product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

The core of this groundbreaking process system consists of a remarkable ensemble of equipment: a highly efficient Roots blower, the indispensable rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler to ensure optimal temperature regulation, a dust collector for capturing fine particles, a desulfurization system to purify emissions, a batching system for precise ingredient measurement, a granulator for forming granules, and an intricate network of advanced conveying equipment, all working in perfect harmony to deliver unparalleled efficiency and seamless operation at every phase.
