Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a masterfully engineered rotary kiln, meticulously crafted to harmonize with the distinct calcining attributes of dolomite and the precise specifications of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. It is the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system. This cutting-edge products emerging from the rotary kiln display unwavering stability and uniform quality, boasting extraordinary activity and minimal ignition loss, ensuring full compliance with Pidgeon method standards for magnesium smelting. This optimizes the magnesium extraction rate and enhances silicon efficiency, significantly reducing the production and consumption costs linked with metal magnesium. It is the quintessential apparatus for dolomite calcination in the magnesium sector, setting a benchmark for excellence.
The comprehensive magnesiumsmelting process encompasses raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is precision-crushed into optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, then sintered in a rotary kiln and effectively cooled by an advanced cooler. It is further pulverized into fine powder through sophisticated ball mill machinery and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press. Calcination occurs in a rotary or vertical kiln, transforming dolomite into calcined white. This is meticulously blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to create an ideal dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates with the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and careful surface treatment to produce premium magnesium ingots.
